“The Outfit.” – White Sands National Monument, New Mexico.
Well, I celebrated my 32nd birthday in style:

Okay, so this is a little self-indulgent, but it’s my birthday so I can take liberties… and it’s really all about showcasing the jumpsuit. Also, how amazing are these white sand dunes?

My lord, that is truly spectacular. Will have to pass it on to a friend who collects jumpsuits, she will curl up in a jealous ball. My mum once wore an orange culotte jumpsuit as a bridesmaid in 1968. The wedding was in Wagga Wagga… country NSW had need seen such a sensation.
Many happy returns Bec, hope to catch you in Australia over summer.

Dear Lovely Rebecca and Beej, I actually made a couple back in the late sixties/early seventies – my collars weren’t as elaborate as yours – but the colours were very much the same and I wore shoes and bag to match!! as we did in those days – can’t wait to hug you both on Friday- XOXO

there’s something of a tablecloth with place setting vibe there… especially on the pics 2nd to bottom where you seem to be doing the “I feel like chicken tonight” dance..

That thing is jus about the foulest thing I ever saw! LOL! But you rock it SO WELL! Must be the sand dunes, the matching hair clip, the shades, your natural charisma…
Your mum and dad said it best. I’ve never seen anything like it myself. But I’m not quite sure that there are any shoes that could bring out the best in that outfit. Its just got too much of its own thing going on.
Hilarious! And Happy birthday!

It’s kind of… like something like a nice lady from rural Virginia in the 1930s might wear if she were going to space… I rather love it.
