Robert Altman
First up- since my blog is no longer a travel blog I will be writing about more day-to-day stuff such as films I’ve rented…
There’s a great great video store nearby which is such a deeelight, especially after Sydney where there is but ONE good video store in the entire city, (Dr What in Bondi) which [...]sunday night aka monday morn
so… I’ve been looking for a job. It’s hard though, or at least its very boring. Looking for a job is just the worst. I’m looking but really I am also just waiting for one to fall in my lap.
i joined the library, that was good.
I stay up late. For example right now it’s [...]la-di-da
Life in Toronto. It’s zero degrees and still a month to winter. Yesterday riding my bike home my fingers stung with cold inside my gloves from the icy wind.
what other news to report? I’m drinking some earl grey tea. I don’t usually touch caffeine so, yikes. We’re trying to decide what colour to paint the [...]Bikes and Things
Hi friends. Here we are living in Toronto. In our beautiful apartment with lake views from our bedroom window. It’s nice but it sure feels strange to be settled. I think it’s a little unsettling if you’ll excuse the irony. I’m having to get used to it more than I thought I would.

We were sitting in a cave (naturally) and I said to him, “Are you jealous that Obama won?” He paused for a moment, not knowing whether to let his guard down, then admitted, “…Of course I am.” To which I [...]
thats right nate dot com
Something I’ve been loving desperately of late is this blog thatsrightnate
It’s where I get all my election coverage. “Nate” is an ignorant conservative republican who knows everything about U.S. politics and has some AMAZING opinions. He updates regularly on every aspect of the campaign, with his insightful views and well-informed positions.
Actually he’s a comic genius [...]Last days on the road for us
We are on our way back to Canada now, we left New Paltz yesterday.
We spent last weekend in the big apple. Hung out with Flip and some other friends from Sydney and went to see my friends Doug and Simone from Toronto play for the CMJ festival two times. They were [...]
