gay paree of the north
today we dropped dear serena off at the airport to fly back to vancouver. it was sad to see her go, our good-hearted half-arab buddy. she really made Phase 2 of our journey. driving to the yukon would have been nothing without her! …her unbridled spirit and enthusiasm a constant contributor to best times.

Wyoming. we stayed the first night in laramie, wyoming. (Laramie. anyone? laramie cigarettes, the simpsons.)
laramie was fun. we stayed in an rv park. we mostly have avoided this because they charge 20 bucks but the luxury of a toilet and shower called. we hadnt showered since texas! calm down [...]colorado the magnificent pt 2
well Boulder is actually quite amazing. a little city that sits between the rockies and the prairies, with a pristine creek running through it… its quite dreamy. and since we are at considerably lower altitude than when we last attempted to set foot in the water, we found the water is a lot warmer here. colorado. what is there to say about colorado? so much beauty it could make you cry.
mountains, rivers, valleys. ouch, ouch, ouch. its so pretty it hurts. its so continually stunning and impressive at every bend in the road, you get to a point where you’re like “i cant take much more of this.”
